Contract AGREEMENT:
By sending your dog(s) to Brianna’s Canine Resort, the Owner Understands that we are an open 10
acre facility and that the dogs are allowed to play in and around rivers, fields, pastures and such and
that certain parasites and illnesses can be contracted from such places and that you ok your dog to
go to such places when you send them to our facility. We do, to the best of our abilities, check for
parasites and we do keep an eye on the dogs so that they don’t accidentally ingest anything. If you
would prefer your dog to not be in any place other than contained in the dog yard, then the kennel
needs to be notified on delivery.
We suggest that you get any and all vaccines required and extras including but not limited
to contagious illnesses and parasites, we suggest the following but please check with your
vet:
Parvo, 7-way, Kennel Cough (1 week prior to sending the dog), and Rabies.
Also, for parasite control: Heart Worm, Frontline or Advantage for fleas and ticks,
Safeguard wormer.
1. Owner agrees to pay the rate for Boarding in effect on the date the dog(s) is checked in. Full rate
is due at the time of Checkin. Daily rates will be added if the dog(s) are not picked up on the pickup
date mentioned above.
2. Owner agrees all charges will be paid before the dog(s) leaves the kennel.
4. All information on file is correct, including owner's phone numbers, emergency contact numbers
and Veterinarian.
5. Kennel shall exercise reasonable care for the dog(s). Kennel reserves the right to house dog(s)
in a manner it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, dog(s) having a suitable kennel-mate.
It is expressly agreed by Owner and Kennel that Kennel's liability shall in no event exceed the lesser
of the current chattel value of a dog(s) of the same species, or the sum of $200.00 per animal
boarded.
6. Owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts of behavior of dog(s) while it is in the
care of Kennel. Owner shall disclose to Kennel any behavioral traits of a dog(s) which may become
apparent during the dog(s)'s stay at the Kennel.
7. Owner has disclosed to Kennel any known physical conditions of dog(s), including but not limited
to, any illnesses, injuries, allergies, or any items which have required veterinary attention within thirty
(30) days prior to boarding.
8. If Kennel determines that dog(s) needs to be seen by its veterinarian, Owner agrees to pay its bill.
If veterinarian of record is not available, Kennel has discretion to select one.
9. Owner has provided to Kennel an adequate history of dog(s), and has disclosed any unusual
traits, illnesses or other issues which may require special attention, and in the absence of such
instructions, acknowledges that ordinary attention and care are reasonable for the care of the dog(s).
10. Owner shall be responsible for picking up their dog(s) when agreed to. Any dog(s) not picked up
within ten (10) days after its scheduled departure date shall be deemed "abandoned" and the bill will
be sent to collections with 1 month added to the bill. The same holds true from dog(s) that are being
dropped off at the Owner’s house. If no Owner is available to take the dog and the kennel is not able
to make contact with the Owner for an alternative drop off, the dog(s) are considered abandoned and
the amount of the bill plus 1 month will be added to collections.
11. In the event of a controversial claim arising out of or relating to this Contract, it shall be settled in
accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgment upon the award
rendered by an arbitrator shall be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Any such
arbitration shall occur in Yamhill County, Oregon and that the venue of this Contract shall be Yamhill
County, Oregon and that the laws of the State of Oregon shall apply with regard to interpretation of
this Contract.
12. Owner agrees to permit the use of all photographs or videos and disclose the dog(s)s name of
which Kennel may choose.
13. Owner acknowledges that the dog(s) is up to date on all vaccines to the best of their knowledge
and a copy of immunizations is available upon request of the kennel.
14. Once a dog(s) has left the premises the kennel is no longer responsible for any illnesses or
injuries or parasites that the dog(s) can obtain and the Owner will NOT hold the kennel responsible in
such events and that the Owner will notify the kennel within 7 days when a dog becomes ill or has
parasites so that the kennel can take precautions and take action at its own discretion.
15. We are also a open kennel and injures and accidents can happen and the Owner agrees to not
hold the kennel responsible for such injuries and the Owner agrees by sending them to the kennel
that they understand that we are an open kennel and that their dog will play with other dogs and be in
close quarters with these other dogs.
